| It's inevitable that you'll get a bit of
water in your mask, usually when you smile, laugh, or adjust your
snorkel mouthpiece or mask strap. To clear the water out easily,
take these steps: |
- There's no need to take your face out of the water or lose sight
of the turtle you've been watching.
- Press the top of the mask lightly against your forehead.
- Take a breath through your snorkel and exhale it through your nose
slowly and steadily.
- As you exhale, look forward and slightly up towards the water
surface.
- Your exhaled air will force water out of your mask through the
bottom.
